I have a 2006 4WD Ext 2.9L 12V Diesel Ranger from Auto Alliance Thailand. I am in Haiti and it is often times easier to find parts online and have them brought from the US versus looking in shops here. I hear these vehicles are the same as the Mazda B series.

I can never look up part numbers online so I've gotten burned a few times by ordering the wrong things. Is there a way to find the part numbers online? If this Ranger is the same as a Mazda sold elsewhere, which Mazda is it? B3000, B2200, B2600?

I'm currently looking for a dome light and several lug nuts and studs.

I live in Panama and experience the same difficulty locating anything for an American made vehicle. Dome light I suggest eBay. Lug nuts they should be fairly standard unless they are for custom wheels. The set I had to buy for my truck ran (no shit) $110. But then again eBay should be able to supply you with studs and nuts.

As for matching the number to the Mazda model since yours is diesel I wouldn't know but if I remember next time I pass the Mazda dealership I'll ask the parts man as he knows me well for trying to help me sort Ssangyong parts (same dealership). But most body and chassis parts should be the same as the B4000.

I didn't find out until recently the Mazda designations b-2300, b-3000, etc. refer to engine size. IE; b-2300 = 2.3 liter, b-3000 = 3.0 liter, b-4000 = 4.0 liter. AFAIK There may be differences in axles between the trucks but everything else should be the same.

axle differences are only dependent on the engine, and if its 2wd or 4wd, just like the ranger

2.9 diesel?! Pics please!:D

The Thai Ranger is it's own beast. I shares a passing resemblance and a name badge with the US Ranger. Most of us here have never seen one and never will. They were sold primarily in south east Asia and eastern Africa.

Beyond that all I know of them is that they were rated for conversion to an ambulance.

Pics bro! I wanna see this beast!
