I’m a little lost. Are you guys saying @Blmpkn should tow the caprice with an old beetle or square back?

Think the consensus is to sell the ranger, and have his uncle tow two beetles with the caprice. While he does bath salts with his friend from work.

Why should I pay someone else to screw it up when I can screw it up myself for free?
A Yugo or Lada would be just fine as a tow vehicle, just make sure they don't count the sheep in the back seat.

UHAUL won't let you tow a cargo trailer behind a Jeep Wrangler if it has a soft top, but if you have a hard top its ok....so....another one of the cases where what sense does that make LOL.

UHAUL tried to deny renting a tow dolly to me once because I showed up to pick it up in my Ranger. They said the vehicle (1991 Ford Tempo) couldn't be towed with the Ranger and Tow dolly, I said I'm just picking the dolly up on my way home I will be towing the dolly and the car behind my Jeep Grand Cherokee...that was fine....I wouldn't have even tried doing that tow with the Ranger LOL, especially with the place I was having to haul it to. Yeah maybe across town would have been ok, but not on that winding narrow hairpin curve road....there's reasons behind UHAUL's policies, and stuff like that is one reason.

The 2019 Ranger is apparently ok to tow the UHAUL cargo trailers though, and a couple of their open bed utility type trailers....probably due to stability and braking concerns? Who knows.

The sheep are mortally offended that you insist upon them not being counted.

Interestingly enough, I actually rented the second biggest cargo trailer from uhaul back in late 2007 to move stuff from Springfield Illinois to Mattoon Illinois(about a 100 mile trip one way). They had no issues and the hitch was homemade by a buddy. Back in 2013 or 14 a friend needed a piano moved about 15 miles so we got the lowest riding motorcycle trailer from usual that we could get and almost couldn't get it because the trailer light hookup wasn't working...

I joke too much, so I searched the web for some solutions.

If they’re worried about the trailer, show them this:

& tell them the trailer will be fine even if there’s a small problem.

And, I mean, what could possibly go wrong anyway?

& hey, if the trailer plan is a bust, do you have a couple ratchet straps?

Hope it helps

Personally I would just wait. I'm almost done with my teleportation technology.

What possible use would my bathroom have in the construction of a teleporter? :icon_confused:

You need a large peice of porcelain to insulate the object being teleported from the electromagnetic radiation given off by the particle accelerator, a bathroom would be the worst thing to use since they are made of steel!

You guys don’t believe @Dirtman really built a transportation device? Just eat a bunch of Mexican or chili or both, properly relax in his launch chair for a few minutes, and then toss a lit match between your legs.

Youl’ll get a great view of @Jim Oaks shop before you enter orbit & we can finalize that at the same time!

Remember to bring some extra Del Taco napkins and Prep H for re-entry, and save the skid marks for the Smithsonian...
