The Dana35 never came as a solid front axle.
Some people use Dana 30s from a Jeep Cherokee XJ (maybe that's what you meant?). I think it's a bit too light-duty of an axle if your truck is a Supercab, however it's likely to work better for you if you have a regular cab truck.

For a Supercab truck I suggest a D44 of some sort. Ones from a '80s Jeep Wagoneer are popular, as are ones from F-150s (either left full-width, or narrowed down 6").

Search around some, this has been covered a lot here already. :icon_thumby:

Moved to non-RBV axles

The best axle depends on what you are using it for.

You narrow a Dana 44 yourself. Unless its one from a Jeep like he said. There is an article in the tech library.

EB Bronco D44. They are low pinion, but they are perfect width for an RBV. I have had 0 trouble with mine.

Pointless to put a D44 in the rear when you can find stupid cheap disc 8.8's anywhere that are easy to build.

so heres what ive decided to do

Talked to my buddy who owns a junkyard and he is setting me up with jeep wagoneer front rear axles and the suspension (coilover)

using the ranger steering box (not sure if that will work)

also im not sure about the lug pattern how hard is that to swap out?

will this work?

Look for builds where guys SAS newer trucks. Toyota boxes and earlier Ford trucks are popular because they mount to a flat surface.
