I timed mine yesterday and i pulled the little plug disconnecting the spark advance while i timed it. well when i pluged it back in, and let it get to operating temp. the advance wont bring the timing back down to what i timed it at. and when i rev up the motor it only makes the timing worse?
anyone have any ideas? Thank you/.

So you set the timing to 10* with the SPOUT out and then plugged it back in and is went up around 20-30*? Sounds like it's working normal to me, it's not supposed to return to the base line timing.. BTW the computer controls the timing when the spout connector is plugged in.
