Just new to this site, hope to get to know a few of you!
Quick question for some of you who may have had this problem before.
I have a 2000 4x4 Ranger 4.0l OHV with 4spd AT. It has been a good truck!
I have the "Vacuum locking" hubs on this with the 4x4 engage switch on the dash. My 4x4 HIGH works, but my 4x4 LOW does not work, or engage.
I can hear the control module click when I choose 4x4 HIGH, but nothing when low is chosen. I checked out this switch, and it seems to be good.
Is it common for these modules to go bad? Or could my problem be at the Transfer case side?
Thanks in advance!
