This is the trans crossmember I made up.

Here's the D44 so far. It's bolted up with all new poly bushings. The coil buckets were modded the fit the EB 5.5 springs. I will be removing the coils and futher modding the buckets for strength and shock mounts.

you should really clean up your cuts with a grinder before you take pics....makes your work seem rushed and shotty...

But it's all coming back out, the seat brackets is getting painted with bedliner when I strip the carpet and do the floors. And the crossmember is getting painted with the bedliner when I gotta pull it out to replace the clutch and slave cyl.

Got my track bar mount welded on. I going to add a couple of plates and a brace to the engine crossmember to further reinforce it. I'm also going to fill the hole in the frame at the top of the front of the bracket. Here's what I got so far...

But now I've got this little problem. Track bar is 1/2", the mount is 9/16"

Oh, and I finally got pics of the broken D35 stuff

It's an EB D44, came from a 1975 Bronco sport.
It's actually quite a shame, the body was completely rotted out. It was a fully loaded Bronco, 302, auto, a/c, p/s, etc.
I gotta go back and nab the rear, has the big bearing 9" in it too.

That's the plan. And I'm trying like hell. Also doesn't help that I'm moving back to Missouri next month. Looks like I'll be going "2wd" though since i can't afford the front axle shafts right now.

Got some more stuff done this weekend,
Balljoints came in from Rockauto, knuckles got installed
I swapped the grey vents for the black ones
I swapped my pioneer that lit green, for an Alpine that matches blue and red
I painted my wheels, sanded the lips.
I mounted 2 of my Swampers
And almost finished the trackbar mount reinforcements, needs a little more welding

Actual ride height will be up about another 4-5"

damn dude. so you can agree with me when i say that reworking seat sliders is a pain in the ass. when i did mine, they sat way too high. my head was hitting the headliner. i had to hack them all apart after i thought i was finished.

btw, i can tell you first hand, yes, you do need to reinforce that track bar mount. mine cracked off with a piece of frame this past weekend. i had to plate the hell out of the frame and gusset the hell out of the mount.

I didn't really have that much trouble fitting my seats. I measured twice, and welded and tapped once.

And with my track bar mount, I added the 1/4" plates on the sides that go up the entire side of the frame. And I plan to add a brace from the engine crossmember to the mount.
