Well if you are going full hydro you won't have that issue haha. Not sure about the firewall, you probably will have to massage it with a hammer. Fullsizebronco forums has a sticky thread about speed density friendly cams.
And I forgot to mention, gt40 heads are a common swap, just don't get the gt40p heads with the angled spark plugs
Whats the difference in the gt40 heads with angle spark plugs? Just for my knowledge

They come from the P engine in the Explorer. One of the best performing sets of oem heads, but Ford put the plug holes in at an angle to clear the whopper-jawed headers/manifolds that the Ex has.

Yeah, they make it a royal PITA to fit headers, and most of the time headers specifically made for these heads have to be used. As if SBF parts weren't expensive enough.

Dang right! I cant believe I can build a fire breathing chevy for half what a stock rering is on fords. Im goin broke just trying to get it running
