I found an old John Deere PTO tire pump under the work bench in my garage, my grandpa has one and it was really cool to watch work as a kid. My great grandfather (who owned my house before me) must have picked it up on a sale or something.
Mine wouldn't turn over by hand so I took it apart to clean and oil it. Being what they are they like oil and grease, mine has seen neither for a long time. My Grandpa's has a grease zerk on the rod end too in addition to the "main" bearing. For whatever reason mine doesn't.
The leather cup seal was intact but cracking, I did a quick search and discovered John Deere still makes the leather cup. Went ahead and ordered one while I still could for $13
If anyone else gets finds/has one here is the #
Soaking the cylinder right now in oil, need to put the cup on the piston and soak it too before I can put it back together.
