Guys is there any fit issues with swapping a 3.0 from a 96 into a 99 3.0l flex. I understand the truck will not be a flex fuel any more but is there anything else I have to worry about.. like tranny, computer, exhuast?????

I don't know about the mechanical/ electrical issues but I think the feds don't like an older engine going in a newer vehicle. I'm not going to tell but if I were you, I would not tell them either.

I have lot's to say on the matter but this is a family site. So to the feds "effem".

Be sure it will pass smog if you have that in your state.
