rear axles not straight???

96 xlt 4x4 the hangers all rotted out on the guy i baught the truck off both drivers side and the passengers back hanger and shacle i replaced the drivers side rear hanger last week and this week im doing the front on the drivers side..... my problem is that my axle is twisted about 85 degrees making both back wheels turn to the drivers side..... when i hang the springs will that straigten the axle?

If you replace the hangers, and the springs are not otherwise damaged, yes it will put the axle back where it belongs.

So....the springs are not on your truck and your wondering why your axle is crooked??

Likely cuz your link geometry isn't correctly centered.......


Seriously WTF do you think locates the axle??

yeah but will the link straighten back to original form theres not much to it i think i could bend it by hand... good call though this things breaking my balls

all done i lifted the back end and lined it to the hanger with a come along put the other rear hanger together and shes sittin pretty
