Should be around $80 if I remember right. Been probably 7-8 years since I had to pull a tranny though.

Edit: Just so you know Jon, Glisson's has 3 Explorers in with a M5OD. Just in case you decide to go with a more direct swap. Though you could still use the pedals and clutch master.

I got the kit from rulebreaker. I decided to go with a 302 now tho, so i dont need the kit anymore. Hoping it finds a working home!

Kage, the ZF is close to those ratio's, plus has an overdrive :D
SVT
Yup, but they're made of gold around here, and I have yet to drive/own one that wasn't fuggered up somehow (granted that usually due to the Dual mass flywheel).

Plus Alu < Good ole Iron :icon_thumby:

Any writeups out there on a 4.0/ZF swap? Can't say I've ever seen one.

i always take pictures, its a pretty good kit from the guy on here (cant think of his name).
Rule Breaker? (Or something like that, the guy with the Aerostar).

How about a doubler?? Might need one with tons...
SVT
FWIW, a good friend of mine rocks a '78 bronco with 37's, 3.73's(?) and a 435/205 combo. That setup is pretty decent all around (he drives it to the trail) but it still needs a little more low end in the rock garden. He's at the point where more gear is going to make it suck on the highway, so a 203/205 doubler will be in his future if he can ever come up with a ford 203. YMMV.

the 205 has a shitty low range. like 1.98:1 which is why im wanting a 1356 which has a 2.72:1 low.

i know one thing, there aint much spare room under the hood compared to the ranger with all the goodies that came on it. im keeping the A/C and cruise but the EGR and ABS will be gone along with whatever i can get out of there.

had a little time to kill so i started swapping the 2010 seats onto the expo electric brackets, wow what a bitch. the new seats have completely different brackets but i think i can make it work. but to do so i basically had to take the whole seat apart....so much for one of those "5 minute jobs".

took me what seemed like forever on the Drivers side when I swapped the Expo Sport seats into the Diesel....but once I figured it out, I had the passenger side done in less than 20 minutes :thefinger:

I get that, so you grab a 203 and slap it in front of it :icon_thumby:

Plus Alu < Steel, and you don't have to dick with having a chain so twin sticking is easy. Though I suppose you can just do a 2low on the 1356 which is what most people seem to use the twin stick for around here (Unlock the front to make it easier to turn on the trails).

Either way, keep the updates coming!
