Got my truck back this Thursday...turns out the torque converter, input shaft and flex plate were toast. Shifts a lot smoother now and got rid of some of the clunks it used to have.:icon_thumby:

Yeah woulda been if I had the stuff all lined up beforehand....maybe I'll do it when something in the actual tranny goes out (I'm due for a band to break lol).

Are you putting in an expo 8.8 into your range.?

Bad news update....rolled it :(

Good news (if you can call it that) is that we righted it and I drove it home, nothing suspension wise was bent and wheels/tires are good to go...oh and I'm not injured either

Can't decide If I'm gonna dump it or keep it and go gnarly SAS on it

Yup time to pull the windshield jack the roof up as best you can toss a cage in it get new windshield then you can start full retard mode...

No worries on dents now. So how did it happen?

do you have collision? i'm guessing not, but if so, let the insurance company total it, keep the salvage and they'll give you a little bit of cash for it. turn it into a trail rig

Gonna see what I can do, and if I fuch it up....will probably pick up another Ranger to drive in the mean time same year or slightly newer and do a cab swap round spring break

Nope they aren't going to do anything for me.

Or I might pick up another Ranger to drive while I SAS the Mazda and sell of the TTB parts, save some money up to finish that and get wheels/tires..then cab swap it later like round summer time.

we'll see. story still unfolding

Yeah. I was upset over the first dent and now don't care as long as I can still drive it home.
