Swapped out the broken leaf for a stock Chevy leaf, the arch isn't quite the same, and neither was the length.

The ass sits about 3" lower too. I did both sides, but I am going to take the good leaf to a spring shop and see what it will cost to have one made.

I was able to heat and straighten the wraps on the stock Chevy leaves, then bend them back once it was weaved into the Superlift pack. I dont like how it fits, nor do I like the overall stance of the truck now, so this is just temporary.

I managed to smash my thumb pretty good just behind the nail. Full swing with a 2.5lb sledge against my brake rotor. Atleast my thumb saved the rotor.

Also picked up some 2x4 box for sliders. Shoved it in my car along with my headache rack, a 6" channel bumper for my Buddys B2, a 6ft chunk of 2x2 box, some 1/4" plate, a chop saw, and my laundry.lol

Got my headache rack back on and wired back up. Ran all the wires inside the upright tube this time to prevent branches from ripping them out again.lol

Light bar is done too, just finishing up securing the wire harness on it before it goes back on.

Sliders will be going on next week hopefully. I plan on keeping my rockers intact and sacrificing 2" of ground clearance. The bottom of the sliders will be flush with the bottom of the frame, so I am not to worried about it.

Plan is to make the sliders stop just shy of the flares so I can cut fenders in the future and not have to trim back the slider.

I had a new leaf made to replace the broken one, so hopefully I can get those stock Chevy leaves swapped back out this weekend.

Update on my buddys B2....Expo rear is stripped down and ready for the locker, perches and shock tabs. 6" channel bumper is mocked up, and bolted up his new 31x12.50 boggers, thebfenders will be getting trimmed alot this weekend.

Finished buttoning up the light bar wiring last night.

Used a high amperage sealed connector for the lights.

The whole bar is on two slotted holes and simply drops onto the two stainless studs a welded on the headache rack and snug down the wing nuts.

Here is the replacement leaf, perfect match, and got reusable bands for both sides. Planning on getting these back in tonight. I hate the stance with no rake.lol

Trimmed a B2 fender last night too.

Been working on the B2 a lot lately, but I got a little done on the blue truck last night.

I pulled the hubs to check the wheel bearing and repack every thing since we did some creek bed wheeling.

Turns out the el cheapo seals I used are awesome. Grease looked fresh as the day I put it in last October. I think the cheaper seals are softer rubber and seal better, because I used to buy the expensive Nationals and my hubs would still end up full of watery green grease.

I pulled the axle shafts since I knew the caps had turned a little and were starting to spit the c clips off.

I used the mill at work to trim back the ears to clear full circle snap rings. BTW I ordered 25 1-3/16" snap rings for 6 bucks through McMaster Carr, so dont waste $2 on a single clip from all the rip off 4x4 sites.

Phone was dying so the picturss didn't focus or have flash....sorry.

All the shafts showed signs of spun caps except the JBG chromo, so tacked them all, one stub was egged a bit so I tacked it double.lol

Also cut the B2 rears.....got a little carried away and cut a bit to high making it impossible to use any of the factory inner fenders.

So we built new inners using Parts of an oil drum.lol Its a raw purpose built trail rig, so looks are not a huge concern as long as most of the mud stays out of the cab.lll

Everything will get seam sealer and undercoated. Also got the new bumper on it, but no pics yet.

All that extra "too much" fender cutting means is that you need bigger tires now :)

Sad thing is the 31s wont clear by much at full stuff even with 5" of fender loped off.lol Bigger tires wont be happening anytime soon. There is a lot of life left i. those boggers.

Wore the outside edges of the fronts with the TTB, but after the SAS they are wearing even. Over 40k on them and they have just under half tread. I trashed my passenger front with the TTB, but I just swapped it out with my spare.

The locker in the rear definitely accelerated wear.

I run 30-35 on the street and 15-20 on the trail

The brown truck dropped off a few goodies last week...

7/8 Rodend and shock tabs.

The rodend will be used to redo my driver TRE so I can use an ag three point hitch stud instead of my split collar setup that has the pin necked down to 5/8".

I want to rotate my rear shock tabs up, but I need shorter shocks to do it.

Also some 120A disconnects for setting up a receiver mount winch front and rear. Got a new crimper too since dad finally asked for his back.lol

I also got the passenger slider almost done. Just have to cap the ends and paint it. I have all the mounting plates ready for the driver side, but I will have to drop the tank to drill the frame safely.

A picked up a locked up SOHC for 50 bucks with a broken rear timing chain guide...big surprise.lol

I am just using the girdled pan and bolts off if it for my OHV build

Disconnects were on Ebay, I got a total of 4, enough to make two connections.(One mounted on each bumper, one for winch, one for jumper cables)

The dust covers are from Mcmaster-Carr, because the Ebay seller offered covers for every size except 120. I would have got everything from Mcmaster, but the plugs were twice what I paid.

Passenger slider is el dunno.

I still want to add another bolt to the rear mount.

I can jack the truck up using them and it only deflects up .25" or so.
Its amazing how a little black paint makes it almost disappear.

I got the mounting plates bolted up on the drivers side and picked up more 2x2 tooob for the supports. Just need to cut the slider to length and get it tacked up.
