My truck is a 2009 b2300 with a 3.73 7.5 inch diff.
The original tire size is a 27.4 inches tall tire, I went to a 29.5 inches tall tire.
From the calculators in the tech section, 4.10 gears would bring me back close to original set up. I went to a local transmission shop, asked him a quote to change ring and pinion for a 4.10.
He told me I should get 4.56 gears because I mentioned to him I was having a hard time pulling my 1500 lbs travel trailer going uphill. the calculator tells me I would be at 3300 rpm at 65 mph...
What do you guys think?
