I've got an '88 ranger with a 4" lift and 33s. Its a stock 2.9 with everything else stock as well. I'm looking to regear it and open to any gear suggestions as well as any other useful advice.

i would say 4.56's at a minimum....4.88's if ya do much trail riding....

I'd say 4.56's... unless you plan on going to 35's, then I'd go 4.88's.
