I just hope that you all were able to spend some time with him.

Onto my rant. Screw the hospital, doctors, and insurance companies. Have her call them and tell them she can only afford 5 dollars a month. They will gladly take that rather than nothing. The hospital should have advocates and social workers to help your daughter with the financial payments. I know at my local hospital they have a fund set up to help offset some of the costs. At least they did before a big hospital bought them out. Go to the govenment I know part of my taxes is supposed to go to help families like your daughters get through tough times. At least again in my life I will know were the money is going.

DG,

I just now read the last few pages of this...Your family is in our prayers and I believe it was mentioned earlier, God is in control.

Hang in there, there is a reason for all of this, and keep in mind that God will not give you more than you can handle if you rely on Him.

AJ

Sorry for the loss, hope the family is getting by okay.

Moments like this make me appreciate my health while it lasts.
Since we're on an automotive forum, it only make sense that I go and do a burnout for yet another forum family member.

DG, we love you. Sorry to hear the bad news. We'll still pray for the family. Try not to focus on the loss, try to focus on the life. And remember to carry on the way he would want you too.

Thanks a bunch Men.

People say this all the time when they are caught in an embarrassing situation---"I could have died"!

When my son was murdered I literally WANTED to die....It didn't matter how----just wanted to die....my wife felt the same way.

My daughter is more-than-likely thinking the same thing right now. And I'm not in much better shape....

Son-in-law was like my other "son" since we knew him since he was 14 years old.

AFTER THE 1ST OF THE YEAR----I'm gonna let her read this thread so she know how many of you guys who she never met were/are thinking about Son-in-law/her/the kids.......

She's too bad off emotionally to read it before Christmas.

Thanks again Men!

Hang in there. Don't try to set standards of "normal" for yourself-like Thanksiving/Christmas. Just get some takeout and watch hillbilly mansion on TV, that's fine. Stuff like that, know what I mean?

Thanks Men.....I know that I have said it before---We still haven't gotten over the death of our Son, and now our great Son(-in-law) is gone (to Heaven).

I "think" that I know what is in store for Thanksgiving and especially Christmas...Jason's sister & brother-in-law who lost their 20 year old son are having a double-rough time......

We appreciate that Jesus has saved a place for our loved ones in Heaven....

but it's going to take a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time to feel better about life.

Yep.......feeln......but I still need to be reminded.....Jesus loves you!

EDIT: annnnnd another thing....I always thought that Christians were just weak and using Jesus as an excuse for what happens----
(well......SOME of us ARE weak and useless and need a crutch---but that doesn't change the fact that God is real and great)

"Ohhhhh we lost the house and the dog, but the Lord took care of us!"

"Ohhhh I lost both legs and one eye in the car wreck but it would have been worse if the Lord hadn't been with me!"

But now I really understand that we have to be like little kids who trust their father to rescue them even when the worse things happen....

The Earth is a rough place to live, but...............HEAVEN DON'T HAVE NO broke bones/old bones.....everyone is made new again by God.
