My fault, I was thinking body lift kit. I did the body lift and it had all new hardware in it. Might be worth it to get all new nuts and bolts anyway.

I decided to come up with my own hardware. However i keep getting bolts that are too long lol. Im using 3/4 tubing for the sleeves inbetween the washers. I should have it figured out tomorrow if it doesnt rain all day.

So i spent today running around getting parts and tools plus i painted the drivers fender and got that bolted up. Moved the b2 out of the way (runs suprisingly well on 2 yr old gas) and took the studded snows off the ranger. Now it will probably snow but idc im tired of listening to the studs.

Weather is starting to shape up a bit though so maaaaaybe this weekend i can get my buddy to help with the body mounts. So that leaves balljoint+alignment and figure out what to do for headlights.

Glad you're putting new hardware on it, safer that way too. I read that 2 of those bolts have to be snapped off because of how they're assembled, Bronco II corral write up. I don't remember mine being that stubborn, but I lifted it 20 years ago lol. Told ya it takes 2 people to make it easier.

Yeah, the weather here's been sucky too. Been raining for a week and can't get anything done. Good luck and post pics when done .

Yeah this rain is a bummer but if i recall it was still like 10 degrees out around this time last year and yesterday it was 70. I was sweating all day yesterday but felt too weird to take my sweater off lol. So no complaints on the weather for me. Im glad im making some progress.
Ill definately post some pics once ive got the grill and headlights back on. Super stoked to get to that point.

Well heres a pic of the new fender on. Trying to get everything straight and even with new parts its proving to be a challenge. Im not looking for a perfect finish but everythings crooked lol. Mostly its the driverside inner fender throwing stuff out of wack.

Looks good so far. Did you use any shims to help align the fenders? Just a thought. Looks like a good paint match too. I'd lose those mirrors, always disliked how small they are.

Thanks. The paint is close enough people wont notice at first glance. Its just burgundy krylon rattle can. I didnt use shims i just kinda hung stuff to see where its at not finished fitting everything yet. I dont care for the mirrors either. Havent got around to getting some better ones. I do really like the bigger chrome ones.. Maybe ill get a set and paint them black or something. I know the brace for those mirrors is in the door so all i have to do is drill the lower holes.

Today i did the upper and lower pass side ball joints. Im hoping the camber is fine.

Im thinking about building a tube bumper that wraps around the fenders like the factory bumper does. It would be terrible for aero but would look badass imo.
Depending on how much some 1 1/2 tubing is will determine if i do or not. The bumper i built for the ranger was from scrap that was laying around the shop but now i dont have access to those kind of materials.

Yeah I like the chrome ones too, they look good on BII ,s for some reason lol. Really doesn't look bad on either side. Tube bumper would be nice. I'd love to have them too, but my welding sucks so I'll have to buy them lol. Was the ball joints easy? Your buddy help with the bushings yet?

Well it took me from 11am to 6pm to do the ball joints. The guy at oreillys didnt give me the "4wd adapter" for the balljoint press so i spent a good amount of time trying to get it to work without it and eventually called them and had them send one to the local store. It only took me about 45 mins to get everything apart. Another big time eater was trying to get the hub off the spindle so it would come off the truck. The hub was frozen but i got out my air hammer once again and eventually got it off.

So im trying to decide if i want to just regear my b2. It currently has 3.73s.. And maybe get some 4.10s or something to make it more streetable cause right now it has 31s and its an absolute slug. OR buy a 2.3T with complete harness ecu and trans.

My credo
Work hard and play harder
Boost = all kinds of winning. True story.

Through a TT 20B in it! That would be sick!
