Touched up the paint of the rear hatch yesterday...

Picked up some quick discos for the front swaybar.

And did some wheeling today.

I'm really happy with it so far, but I'm thinking I need some 63s for the rear to get some more droop.

Lol, Lowes. 1/2" adjustable clevis pins with the little clips that go with them. Total was about $7.50. They're just a hair too big so I'm just using bolts for now, but I'll run a tapered drift through the bushings to expand them just the hair that I need.

Here you can see I'm running the longer links from the rear sway bar on the front. I had to press out the bolts & bushings and press them back in the other direction since they were 180* off where they needed to be. They work great. :icon_thumby:

you should find some kind of ramp (like a loading dock) and see how far it goes up...

Yeah I need to find something... I picked a front tire off the ground last night with a car load of people.. :shok: And picked a rear wheeling this afternoon. I need to get some 33s on with my better offset wheels to make up for the narrower rear end.

Those longer links look like they came off the rear of a BII...

Explorer looks good! Could use a locker or two.:D

Nah not really... Next week I'll be working for my old boss, so I should be able to get an alignment and some tires.... Then probably some sliders and bumpers since I tweaked my front a little bit goofing around on some rocks at a friend's house.

I'll probably re-do my sub box next week too when I'll have nothing better to do.

Looks good man. Good explorer to start with for cheap... Keep an eye on that cross member under the motor where the drop bracket mounts. I did the identical modification to my brackets and cross member and a couple months later after some regular weekend wheeling and the cross member had a good size crack going through it. Ofcourse nothing a heavy weld couldn't fix. But yeah just something to watch for. Once again nice EX so far..

I did the same lift on my 87' ranger (that is if it is a 4in. lift). what a pain in the ass that was. I bought the kit second hand and the guy said it was for a b2 or ranger. ended up having to modify the shit out of the kit. the arms were just long enough that we had to build a custom tranny cross member. I am glad to see that the arms are actually rancho. I couldn't find any info on the kit. I am currently running 30x9.50x15's on the truck and the tires rub on the radius arms when turning sharp. I want to upgrade to 32x11.50x15's but don't want it to rub really bad. Any suggestions?:icon_thumby:
