There are normally threaded holes on the back of the heads and tops of the exhaust manifolds. I always use those. Just put a bolt through the chain and thread it into the hole. One on the back of the motor, one on the front, opposite sides of course.

The one question I have is a bout the harness and computer. I see that on the driver side there is a cannon plug the ties the engine harness to the dash but this harness also goes through the firewall on the passenger side too. Anyone know what im supposed to do here? Also where is the computer?

Unplug your current cannon plug, and everything connected to it. Pull out your current computer along with the harness connected to it, through the firewall. After doing this, there shouldn't be any wiring left under the hood.

Replace what you just took out with whats in your donor.

Nope not swapping the dash (for now) But im going from a 90 to a 91 so everything should just plug in (so im told). So the harness that goes through the firewall on the passenger side is going to the computer?

Then you shouldn't need to mess with the cannon plug. Just unplug the engine harness from the headlight harness on the drivers fender well.

Ok no one has answered me yet. The harness that goes through the PASSENGER side firewall goes to what? Also I dont see how I can use my existing engine harness if this is a different engine. Why not unplug the cannon plug where it comes through the drivers side firewall and replace the whole thing?

Because you dont need to. Its easier to just unplug the engine harness, but you do it how you want.

The harness going into the passenger firewall goes to the ecu.

Ok I think i see what your saying now. I will probably end up doing all of it since the wiring from my B2 is very brittle and all the connectors are falling apart. Does anyone know if the master cylinders can be swapped? I dont see any reason they shouldnt.
