Im going to be the owner of 3 explorers soon.

Theres a 2000+ explorer eddie bauer for 1500 at the local ford dealer that im calling about as soon as the sales guy gets in.

Then a guy at work had the transmission let go in his 94 on him again, so hes askin me to take it away for $100. And the 1991 explorer that I've got now.

That will bring my record to

1 1991 Eddie bauer - Daily driver
1 1991 sport - Parts/scraped
1 1994 Limited - Parts
1 2000+ Eddie bauer - New Daily driver

1 1990 Ranger - 5.0L + 4x4 conversion

It all depends on how much of a turd this new eddie bauers going to be. If its got the 5.0L in it, im sold no matter what. haha.

*EDIT*

I went and copied the VIN and check it on my dealerconection account. Its the 4.0 SOHC. 4.10 non limited-slip. audiophile sound system. no previous warrenty claims besides the recalls that were done in 2003. Looks like it may have been a leased vehicle.
So as long as the milage isnt too high, and it doesn't need everything replaced.

Should be a good rig. My mom has a 2002 Explorer 4.0 and it is really nice. Dont be put out by a V-6 in it, they get right up and go. They are a really driveable rig. Really, Really stable on the road, at any reasonable speed.(reasonable stops at 115)

K bought it up. $1700 after taxes. Now i just have to bring it to work and get the front end nice and tight and shes good to go. I'll post up pictures once ive got it all cleaned up and waxed up and lookin pretty. A buddy at work has some 18" wheels from his 94 i might slap on it. We will see.

Its got lots of options, even some goofy recorder built into the sunvisor. record a message for yourself and play it back later. i thought it was weird. but i REALLY like the heated seats. Still disapointed about not being a 5.0L. that would have been the best deal on the planet! but i guess i cant win em all.
