Lowering Forzda's 96 Mazda B3000

Here is what I am thinking of doing , I want a 2/3 drop on my truck . I was thinking of using 2 inch lowering springs (belltech)up front , doing the bracket flip on the rear and adding an extra inch of drop by extending the shackles to the springs by 1 inch to get the 3 inches in the rear .
I would like opinions on doing this . I do realize that there might be camber problems up front but I figure I can use camber cams to correct that .

I was hoping I would have had some response to this by now . I know that there are people who have lowered their trucks . I was hoping to gain from their experience and save some time and money

The springs in the fornt should be fine. I'm a little confused about what you're attempting for the rear. Are you planning a shackle flip with a lift shackle? If thats what you have in mind, then it should work. I'd keep an eye on your pinion angle though just to make sure it doesnt get to out of whack.

Thankyou , that is exactly what I want to do , now just to find everything for this endeavor and I will be all set

I have not done a shackle flip, but from what I understand there is not much room between the shackles and the bed after flipping. Probably not enough to put on long shackles.

There are kits that relocate the axle above the springs, then use long shackles to reduce the drop to 3". That might be the way to go for a 3" drop.

Thanks for the idea , this rear wheel drive is new to me , I have not owned a car that was rear wheel with leaf springs , all my suspension experience has been Front wheel drive , with struts and coil springs . Thus all the questions.

I would either do the coils and flip the hangers and shackles for a 2/2 drop or do DJM beams and a flip kit for a 3/4 drop. Or both for a5/6 drop
