hey guys,

i have a 02 mazda b3000 84k miles. when i decelerate fast enough, the rpms drop below 500 rpm and comes back up to 500ish. the dealer saw that the pcv hose is compressed and recommended that it needs to be replaced. do yall think thats the problem or something else?

thanks!!

I'd be replaceing the hose and also the pc valve! If the hose has been sucked flat it would be an indication to me that the pc valve isn't doing it's job properly..

i replaced the pcv and he hose. it sounds better and seems to be keeping the rpms around 500-550 pretty well.
