I have been searching for the right donor for my 1986 Bronco 2. At first I was going with the explorer d35 swap because it was relatively easy and bolt in. Well I have been thinking about it more and more and I don't know if I just want to take the easy route. A fellow member here posted a thread where he is taking the drive train out of a 1986 F-250 4x4 and putting it into his bronco. What would that consist of? I understand you would have to fab new mounts and etc but would you shorten the F-250 axles down to the original B2 axles width? I'd like to make my B2 different from every other 4.0 D35 B2's here because they are dime a dozen. I am not a skilled fabricator yet but with this project i will learn
