I got a 97 XLT supercab. It has power windows, and locks. My problem is both the driver, and passenger windows are loose. they go up but bind up. they are loose front to back. Can they be fixed, and how?

The window play is pretty good. I'm talking 1/2 inch or more. It tilts forward as it is going up. The problem was there when I bought it I am just getting tired of pulling it up to help it along. Someone told me the older power windows were glued to the actuator arms, aand the window may be coming unglued. I can't really get in there to see. Any ideas appreciated.

They have either come unglued or the bushings on the actuator arm are shot. (that would be more of a binding than a flop tho) Either way its a simple fix once the windows are out of the truck...

^ what he said, pull your door panel that should give you a bit of access to view the problem.
