Some part on a trailer he was making. I keep the pic on the epic fail wall of shame at my shop.

Err....what?
:dunno:
I remember that, it was a makeshift electrical box I never finished for the BBQ trailer, my first attempt at tacking was that, it was never finished and was akwardly put together with scrap metal. So of course its terrible, it was made when I first started learning how to weld.

Remind me never to drive on NPA roads unless im in an Abrams tank.
Don't worry about that too much. I keep an eye on him and keep the truly dangerous things (like the Ranger with the Swiss cheese frame) off the roads.

The Focus is better than it looks.

He's lucky to have you mentoring him, keep crackin the whip and carve him into shape. Sometimes tough love is the only way... or the military and he is a prime candidate for that while he is young and moldable.:icon_thumby:

Except that you can't close threads.
And then there's that. Kip you post it, we toast it young man. You have 30-40 maby 50 year pro welders here and you want us to buy that!? NOT gunna happen and your dam sure not going to get cottled either. What freaks people out is that, that can wind up on a road and even at your age you should not have a disregard for human life when your junk goes though someone elses windshield. Should have posted this in the spring son, I would have flown you up and sent you back in the fall a jr. renaissance man.

^this

this isnt a barbie doll forum. this is a site devoted to building and fixing all sorts of different trucks. if you cant take contructive criticism or some good old fashioned ball busting when you do something stupid, then you're in for a fun life.

you're young, so maybe you cant comprehend how ****ed you would be if that weight bench on the front of your car came apart on a highway while you're doing 70 mph and killed or maimed someone.

most of us also dont know you personally, so we can only judge you based on your previous posts and threads. you started with one stupid idea and now you're talking about rigging an RC car with explosives. i guess i just hope that you've got a better understanding of dynamite than you do metal fabrication.

Haha, id rep you for that one, but my phone shuts off if I try, lol. Well said 88eddie.

Keep the thread going.... its hilarious, just stop with the metal work that will eventually end up on the road. Idc if you work on somehting that explodes in your backyard... just don't do it where its going to hurt people or damage their stuff.
