Flip kit?

Was about to install my flip kit but I don't see how it will work. Everywhere I've read says unbolt the leaf spring pack and flip that. Then add the bracket and bolt everything together. Well I only have 1 lead. And the plate isn't exactly bolted. It's like pinned and sealed. Do I have to drill these pins out and replace them with bolts?

This can be closed. I cut a notch in the pins and used a flat bit on an air chisel to snap off the top head. Then I used a pointed tip to knock the pin through the mount and replaced with 3/8 grade 8 bolts
