i just want you all to know that i just joined here and read through all 29 pages of this section. this forum rocks. our f150 forums suck compared to you guys. yall make everything! its pretty great lol. im drawing up ideas for rock sliders, front and rear bumper, a tailgate, and looking into body lifts for a 95 ranger of ours. but theres one thing i didnt see much on.

has anyone on here fabbed up their own fender flares? i saw one post about them and all it said was some guy used the garden edge stuff. anymore insight on this or what anyone else has done? its for a daily driver so it cant be too off the wall lol.

Theres no way i would ever do it to my truck. I was just wondering what people have been doing or if theyve thought of anything.

I figured fabrication and cheap went hand in hand lol

Fabrication and throwing money into the fabrication go hand in hand. lol

All I will be using on my BII with chopped fenders is fiberglass reinforced nylon (nicknamed in industry as "Filon") riveted to the inside. But the Pacer Flexy Flare as posted above will work awesome. If they made it wide enough for my application that is what I would use for sure.

this is one of the biggest mistakes many people make.

fabrication is for people that are willing to spend time and money to get something that just isn't available otherwise.

you want cheap, get some garden edging.
