i like the occasional cigar, black n milds are aight. chew is f-ing nasty as hell, im glad most of my homies quit. Just got a pack of Panter from smoker friendly, gonna give those a whirl.
what amazes me is that i still see young kids (13-18) picking up the habit.

Wow...that's pretty gross...but those orgs like to use shock tactics...like the 'smoker's lung' pics...that, in fact, are diseased lungs and have little to do with smoking...

This is one of the more vocal pro-smoking pages...they give you a good rundown on the junk science used by anti-smoking organizations...

Truth about Anti-smoking campaigns

But I will say it's better to quit smoking and chewing tobacco...just think of all the taxes anti-smokers and anti-chewers will have to, ahem, cough up when the tobacco money runs dry...it will at least be spread out on other habits and lifestyle choices...

As far as the original post...I don't chew but I've smoked Canadian cigarettes (Vantage, Export Eh!, Du-Muari-Eh, and others) on and off for the last 40 years...

Currently rolling my own because I cannot afford the tailor-made ciggies ($8.50 a pack these days) and I'm using Player's tobacco...still haven't tried the pipe tobacco that someone suggested a while ago, but may try that some day...

i will only smoke a cig if i rolled it. I find it much more satisfying. i also partake in some pipe tobacco here and there, its greatHukah tobacco is nice too, i still get a buzz since i do it so rarely.:icon_thumby:

my college roommate rolls his on cigarettes, get the cheapest tin of tobacco and then usually hit up the "tobacco" store for rolling papers (its really a weed shop, they sells bongs and all that other crap) but yea go there just for the rolling paper cause they are better yet cheaper, plus you can get flavored cigarette paper, pretty good stuff, haha they even have peanut butter flavored papers

I quit dipping (Copenhagen) 5 years ago and miss it everyday. I told my wife that when my son turns 18 I will start again because then he can make his own decision on whether or not to start. I dipped for around 30 years and it is a NASTY, NASTY habit but I really enjoyed the taste/flavor plus unlike cigs I could do it and never disturb/bother anyone around me.

Best advise I could give to any of you is put it down if you have already started and STAY AWAY from it if you haven't.

Ps- I really doubt I will start again and if I do I will be 55 then so I be getting closer to the dirt nap anyway.

I don't like the cheap stuff plain (Timberwolf, Husky, Kodiak, etc) but get one of those brands in natural then open it and put a few drops of sweet tea in and then put it in the fridge overnight. Man thats some good stuff
ima have to try that sometime
