this is my thread for a junkyard long travel lift

1991 Ford Ranger Xlt
4.0l 5 speed 4x4
265/75-16 tires on 01 mustang rims


with factory supsension i have no rubbing with the tires at all:yahoo:
will keep posting as i keep adding planning on f150 springs tomoro or the nextday gadda get the factory shackles apart first

is there a fix for a bent spring mount my truck was jumped before me and the previous owner bent the spring perch till its touching the fram is there a easy fix for this like bending it back out or will it not work just let me know thanks cause its making the truck lean and drive rough cause the radius arm is sitting on the rubber bump stop

I replied to your other thread before I realized you were talking about the front suspension, not the rear. But take some pics of it so we know which bracket your talking about. And have you seen this kit yet?

These might be a better starting point than the drop brackets and f-150 springs. You could gusset the beams and still extend the stock radius arms and give you a much better setup.

been a while since i was on here money got tight and deployed so never got any work done on it and had to sell it
i just bought back one of my other rangers it an 88 standard cab 4x4 5 speed 2.9l
it will have to wait till early feb to get worked on

cut and turn beams
custom radius arms
D35 conversion in front
eb coils
procomp extended length coils

chevy 52 inch springs mixed with ranger and jeep leafs and rearched
bedcage or maybe custom cantilever setup


planning on putting in a vw or mercedes diesel engine
4.0l clutch and flywheel
lots of fiberglass

all i did was bend the brackets back out with chain and a come along just put the truck on a jackstand on that side and hooked a chain to it and used a comealong to bend the spring perch back out
put it back to stock height and then left it alone for a while then i found out i was deploying and sold it
