This isnt my ranger it is my brothers. this was a budget build and used spare parts laying around to put together and works great
started out as just a cheep winter beater so my brother didnt have to deal with cold starting his f350 deisel, and keep it out of the salt we have on our roads during the snowy months of winter
In the spring we put 33 12.5s on and than figured it needed more lift and suspention travel
so under the knife it went.
we put radius arms from a early 2000s f250 2wd superduty in which are beefy and are alot longer than the stock ranger radius arms. we found switching left for right and flipping them upside down that it will provide with lots of castor angle
cut out the lower ball joint hole out of the i beam and moved out 1/2" to help adjust camber, and also put adjustable camber bushings in for the upper ball joint
welded in and plated
for coil springs there were some old unknown progressive coils kicking around that worked perfect. also had a bunch of different coil spring retainers with different heights to get the truck to sit level in the front.
over all the truck sat about 2 1/2" to 3" taller. the rear shackles were custom extended to level the back with the front
so when it was all said and done we did some trail riding and rides real nice.
also takes our table top jump like a champ
