Oh I see. Good to know. I'll check out the wiring diagrams in the Haynes Manual. Thanks

So I did some research on the fog light mod and apparently for 2007 and up you need to add a relay.

Ah right. 07+ needs a relay somewhere. I'm not sure how to do that then.

Gorgeous truck man! I never really cared for white, and I've always leaned towards the older rangers, but after seeing yours both of those opinions flew out the window. Everything you've done to it has only made it more awesome. Nice work!

Well I know what's next Haha. Finally found a great condition set of Chevy 64 leafs. So that will be next.

Now that I have a new daily driver, I don't have to worry about tearing into the truck and having it all done in 48 hours. I can take my time.

I'll be grabbing those hopefully next week. And then I'll need new shocks and then install.

Boom.

I think I did good. $80. Been sandblasted, rust treated, and painted.

Got the hardware for the leaf swap. $70 later lol. Guess that's not too bad. 56 pieces.

Bed off. Time to clean all the mud LOL. Man these trucks have a ton of places that trap mud.

So for some reason the hanger on the driver side is already bolts. Not rivets. That saves being extra careful about sparks and gas tank.

Passenger side is rivets though. That's no problem.

Got the leafs all off tonight. Had an issue with my driveway lol. Truck slid over when my brother tried to kick the leafs out of the notch in the block where the pin sits lol.

Nothing the hi lift couldn't fix.

Anyways, tomorrows task is getting the front hangers off the frame.

Didn't get anything done last night before work. Slept late.

But, big news. I'll be doing an SAS on this thing sooner rather than later. But sooner doesn't mean soon haha.

Guy I know has been bugging me to buy his d30. He's moving and doesn't want to take it with him. So I'm grabbing it for $80. No brainer.

So ill be doing some research on what parts to grab for that conversion.

Very nice! Springs look good, scored a 30 for only $80, and you don't have to rush your work! Idk if it's something you care about but now would be the time to wire wheel your frame then repaint it since you have the bed off! It makes the cleaning of the mud way easier lol. Plus it just looks good painted.

Yep. I have a wheel and bed liner ready to go Haha. Bought it all yesterday.

Would have done that last night before work but slept late.

The d30 is a low pinion, but its a non CAD and is in great shape. So I can't complain. A Hp at a junkyard would easily be $300 up here.
