I have a 96 B2300 which I know is just a Ford Ranger. She has 217,000 miles. I am wanting to replace most of the front suspension parts. I am a experienced mechanic but have never messed with suspension parts outside of shocks/struts kind of stuff. The truck feels supper loose especially when hitting a pot hole. Just seems wore out. lol. Anyone know where I can get parts from or have a part list suggestion. Again not really familiar with suspension. My searches turn up only ball joints, camber caster bushings. I am looking more for complete upper lower control arms etc. Any help or direction on what all to replace, or not replace is welcomed.

You probably have Twin I Bean front suspension.

I suggest looking at the Tech Library on the site and poking around. It will give you an idea of what you're dealing with.

These trucks tend to drive a bit different then what you may be use to.

Yes, 2WD in '96 was twin I-beam.
Ball joints, radius arm bushings, axle pivot bushings, and sway bar bushings are your normal wear items for front suspension

So Tinman_72, you would not replace the radius arms themselves or the sway bars, just bushing??

Not unless they are damaged.
