An Edsel is an Edsel, like a Mercury is a Mercury.

Actually in a lot of ways they were really a pretty neat car.

I am going to have to do some thinking on what mine is though...

Mustang II...I have no idea what Ford was thinking when they rolled that thing off the assembly line. It's almost embarrassing to have that thing have the same name as a Stang.

a little more power and a smaller front end, the biggest complaint was lack of power

What was wrong with the early 5.4s? They changed the heads in '99 for more power but were pretty much unchanged.

Actually they can be a kinda neat car if they are set up right.

I know a lot of people like them but I almost prefer the II to what followed.

I second the pinto. I had a 73 wagon with the 2.0 and it couldnt get out of its own way! Absolutly the most underpowered vehicle I have ever driven. That is coming from a guy that had a 4cyl wrangler, currently a 4 cyl ranger and a JKU, so you know power isnt my thing either.

I remember seeing a near mint Edsel on Ebay some years back. It went for a lot of money. They are rare now. If you say thay are common where you are you need to get a nice one and sell it and make some money.
