I got my hands on my first vehicle and it's a 94 Ford ranger 4.0 standard.
The last owner did a compression test without removing the spark plug and set the wiring harness on fire.
It's small localized.
My question is. To replace the harness do I need to remove the radiator?

Thanks for any help.

No, if the fire was just on the engine harness, you may have to remove the upper intake but that should be about it. The harness that runs along the core/rad support is the lighting harness, which actually can be removed by just unbolting the fan shroud and shifting it against the motor then pulling the two bolts at the top for the radiator and lean it back towards the engine.

I’m gonna move this to the 4.0 forum…
