Ok, I suck at the electricalzity.
I'm wiring up a back-up light, basic 55W little light. All is in place, grounded properly with stupid large wire for the juice it will be carrying.
I got this neat little rocker switch, illuminated. Looks just like this, with an extra O and I. Really clean.
It has 3 prongs ... and I can't figure out how to wire it to save my life. Of course there are no instructions, who would be dumb enough to not know how to wire that stuff?
Now I do have a volt-meter thing, so I was able to figure out how to close the circuit, prongs 2 and 3. So using these 2, I can close the circuit, light up the back-up light ... but the switch isn't illuminated, and I'm not using the last prong (I tried grounding it, no difference)
I tried wiring ... power comes in on prong 1, prong 2 is ground and prong 3 goes to the back-up light ... but it just did not work.
mmmh ... help?
