will a 98 oem exhaust fit a 1997?

when i got my ranger, someone cut the exhaust in the middle of it to make it noisier i guess. i want to put the original exhaust back on but i have a 4 cylinder 2.3 reg cab. the one at the pick and pull junk yard is a 1998 3.0. the lady doesnt know the rest.

will the 1998 exhaust fit mine?? another question.... would the 1998 SENDING UNIT fit mine? my gas gauge doesnt work...

the junk yard also has two 1994's 2.3. wonder if those exhausts and sending unit would work?

if your talking just exhaust then yes if your talking full system with manifolds no

94 exhaust is a direct fit. As for the sending unit, cross reference the part numbers on an auto parts website.

One thing i just thought of is you may want to make sure there are enough o2 sensor bungs in the '94 exhaust. That would be the onl difference between the two.
