Where the heck is Krispy Kreme donuts?

I just read where Virginia City has filed a lawsuit against Krispy Kreme donuts for dumping donut grease into the sewage system...and the stores in Canada have all but closed due to the recession...Tim's, on the other hand, has been expanding like crazy...but when you sell THC (Tim Horton's Coffee) for $1.50 for a large...you can't help but make money...

i heard they are clossing lots of stores. like starbucks they expanded too fast and the recession has hit them (like starbucks) so lots of stores are closed or will be clossing.

Yeah ours closed down, we had one twenty miles away. Seems like when they did the supermarket deliveries the stores disappeared.

All the stores has a Krispy Creme Island, I see the truck come in every so often. Donuts are good if fresh.

we have a pats doughnuts here in lima oh they are pretty good back home most gas stations have krispy kreme i like the ma and pa type stores doughnuts those big ass ones lol

Jim, I have two words for you, "Health Freaks".

There use to be a couple of KC's around here. But now I think the only store left that I know of is in Norman. I can buy them in almost in any store. But because of these health wise people (not slandering anyone) and the government for a healthier nation. Most not so healthy places are closing down.

Considering a 5 day old KK doughnut is just as soft it seems as a "fresh" one and the layer of lard that lines your teeth and mouth after eating one does not surprise me to them closing.

I'll take the $1.50 for a coffee from Timmies over a $5.00+ Starbucks any day. Maybe unlike others I don't have the income to blow on coffee that expensive but I also prefer the taste.

I know they had a plant in Greenville, SC a few years ago. Whether or not its still there I dont know. But every gas station south of the Mason Dixon sells them by the box, as well as the supermarkets. Jim do you need me to overnight you a few boxes? LOL

Why not make your own? If you can build a truck I'm sure you could make a donut, a better one than you can buy I'll bet.

Definitely not true. The difference between a fresh one and a 5 day old one is amazing.

Why not get the breakfast burrito from Hardee's. It was like 4500 calore's. Your food intake for the whole day in one meal.

Theres only ONE krispy creme here in Puerto Rico, and i've known people drive 2 hours to make a line for 1.5 hours to then drive home 2 more hours.
By the time they get home, either theres no more donuts, or they hungry all over again

i knew i shouldnt have looked at this thread. there is a krispy kreme a few minutes from my house and its starting to call my name

Got one here in Washington PA about 1/2 hour south of Pittsburgh (home off all the champion sports teams, exept Pirates) and on certain days they have all you can eat :yahoo:
