Wheelin Meet This Winter

i got laid off yesterday. the good news is that i got 6 back checks which should last me through christmas if i don't get back to work by then. see you all around 9!

Hope you find a new job man!

Too many people are getting laid off..
2 of the 20 people at my work have getten the boot.. I think that is it for now though.

I am starting to try and buy only things that are made in the US. Screw China and Taiwan. Sure, it cuts prices down, but it is money the country is loosing. It's getting to the point where you have to search to find american made products!

no joke, i know of like 10 ppl... of course ppl get laid off every year in construction that's normal. i just hope ppl wake up and ease there grip on their money once the new prez is in office.

Have we decided on a time yet?

I know we've thought about 9am, 9:30, and 10. We ruled out 10 though, right? I'd be up for 9 or 9:30. If people don't check up on the thread they may get there at 9am though.

I think 9:30 would be good, not too early for Yoda, and not too late for Loan Ranger.

Rolled Ranger, you in?

Whatever works for me, I'll be there.

Sounds good to me.

I will be there for sure. That thing hasn't left pavement in a while. Plus I want to prove I can go to an offroad park and drive back out on my own. This is alot of people, this will be pretty nice.

Dogboy,
Your truck is looking really good. I want to check out the m5od swap. I pulled my tranny but for some stupid reason i put the same one back in.

Is it on the tow strape in that pic? It is either a strap or a stick, one of the two.

Derrick was saying something about you doing the M5OD swap also.

What was wrong with your tranny? Did you ever find out?

The Manual swap was actually pretty easy. My cousin helped me do it though.

Sweet this should be a pretty big run. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your rigs, and showing off mine (hopefully).

Yeah, it will be a good sized one. Hopefully we can have a good run without any holdbacks/ break downs. Those always make a day fun...

You're doin real good if you can break parts at Tahuya though! :icon_rofl:

Not anymore, it's pretty easy now. There has always been a hard way to go around most obstacles, but those of us with LWB rigs would be showing some hurt if we tried those.

dang, i really wanted to see the turbo 4.0L in action... how far away you live?

maybe you could sneak down for an hour or two?

9:30 it is...

I should be getting some money by then so it should be fine. i changed one of my radius arm bushings, still have one to do and damn those things are a PITA. the word is i'll be getting a manual t-case and hubs the end of the week so i'll have that installed as well.
