Wheelin Meet This Winter

You guys ran South Loop backwards, lol....

Which ways backwards? lol

Seriously though, being out there every other weekend I get tired of running the trails the same way over and over!

Yeah I hear ya... I've never ran it that way, it'd probably be a cool change.

The spot where the tree jumps out at the ext cab/ drip rail, was simple bckwards!

I have only run it twice, once the other way when it was dry, and this way today.

Well, I guess I'll have to try and use Youtube. My dad maned the camera today, and he took alot of videos.

Jayson (RolledRanger), what ever happened to you?? We left Safeway around 9:45.

( Derrick broke a berfield (sp?) on his LJ, and John had some battery/ connection issues.

It's Derek and birfield (although I think the actual translation from japanese is barfield) :dunno:

After I broke the birf, the rig was useless compared to usual. That one tire dragging really slows you down. I would have prefered both diffs open and all shafts to how it is now. Oh well, for how easy that one broke, it told me it's time for an upgrade. :D Coming back down the road to the trailers was fun also with the missing front shaft, anytime I accelerated or decelerated, it would try to slide sideways. :shok: It was because the freewheeling side wanted to keep going when I let off, it wasn't slowed at the same rate as the others with the engine.

When we got back to the trailers, I started my rig, and my dad started the bronco, well, when he did, the ignition stuck in the start position, and because of my straightpiped diesel, nobody really heard it, and if they did, didn't know what it was. So basically it fried the starter, and when it got hot enough, froze the starter, and killed the motor, because it was still engaged with the flexplate. :annoyed:

So luckily, (87rangerboy's dad, the guy in the jeep) ran my dad down to Napa in belfair, and luckily they had one in stock. So there I am, laying under my dads bronco in the snow, hat froze to the ground, changing out a starter. :icon_rofl:

No biggie, if it weren't for stuff like that, wheeling wouldn't be any fun.....:shok:

So all in all, it was a great day. Didn't get many pics, but I'll post them after dinner.

Thanks again to 87rangerboy's dad for running my dad to get the starter.
