Wheelin Meet This Winter

that was about 6 months after i got it... my first 4wd. first time i almost made it out then it died... kept turning it over and it finally fired up ha ha just as my cousin was hooking the tow rope up of course. second time (pictured) no one had a rope and i just went way to fast into the water and i think it just cut off the air and it died. the bottom was flat so we just pushed it out... that was a cold ride home for sure

People I can think of going are:
JFA_Spyderman
Sunk
Yodaman
Me
Loan Ranger
Loan Rangers dad
and MKpecor (he said if he can make it, he'll be in th parking lot at 9am, he needs a new long block or something)

That is from here, then my cousin want's to go, test out his scout
And also my buddy Casey, he has an intresting Ranger.

So I have the group as 9, unless somebody backs out or somebody else is going too.

Should be better than the last couple times. Last March was a good run, Me, Loan Ranger, Rolled Ranger, and MKpecor

so can you guys post pics of your rigs? i want to see just how rowdy a bunch we will have...
this is what i got:

My Ranger is the one that is in my sig, but I can't get pictures untill I get home form work.

Loan Ranger's the one we have to worry about, haha!! When you see a pic, you'll know why!

ha ha you don't have a pic in your sig!

just kidding i get what you ment... i looked it up.. is it the same as after you put the 3" BL on it?

I got this hunk o junk

yeah i found that too... your sig says 6" lift, doesn't show it very well

Yeah it's more like 4.5-5" since it a Supercab V6.... I'll be going up another 1-2 inches so I can clear 33s.

yeah im i need of a motor it runs i drive it and wheel it still but its close to home. i still have a cracked head, witch is no bigie, i just have to add water every 2 days, but if i get on the free way after acouple miles the lifters start chatering like crazy and one plug starts to run on 5 cil..... so i dont think im up for the drive, but if i get a motor then im down, after this wheelin trip we should do a evens run, ill drive and wheel at evens since its not to far from my place, but ya if i go you guys will see me in the parking lot at 9:00

where is evens creek? i had a motor like 8 months ago that i gave to the wrecker... it sat in the rain though and a couple header bolts broke off... can't find one on craigslist?

Evans Creek is up here by Bonney Lake/ Enumclaw/ Carbonado. It's basicly on mount Rainier, kinda. It is awsome wheeling, and there's alot of snow in the winter.

And, he's my Ranger:

Just kind of a change in topics, who would be interested in buying a motorcycle piston- shift knob? The machinist at my work helped me make one (the base to hold it to the shift shaft) and we were thinking about making some more. It is just an idea becuase we aren't sure how many of these pistons our boss has, so that would limit how many we do. And we aren't sure how much it would cost either. I was going to go and look up the price of other shift knobs. He was sayin that it would be kinda hard to justify making any less than 10-15 or them. They would be designed for a ranger shift shaft, but would work on other rigs if they have the same diameter shaft. (uses set screws to hold it on) I can get a picture of mine also.
If we go through with this, and any of you guys wanted one, I could probably get them to you when we go to Tahuya.

Well, I've been trying all night to post a pic, and photobucket keeps freezing up on me, so here's the build threads of mine,

And my dad's. There should be some stuff under it by then... :icon_rofl:

I'm gonna try and borrow my buddy Pat's trailer, so my dad can use it and tow his ranger with the bronco, and I'll tow my trailer with the zook on it with the Burb.

Or maybe I should just wheel the Burb, and see how many rangers it takes to pull a 7000 lb diesel out of mudlake.... :icon_twisted::icon_rofl:

haha, I'd be up for taking part in the recovery, lol.

I think it would take all of us to get that thing out...

I've got issues with my truck now though... It has been missing/ stumble pretty bad the last couple days.. I tried the fuel filter thinking that it has never been changed, so it was good maintence. But that didn't solve it, so I put some of that Sea Foam stuff in the tank today when I filled it up. HOPEFULLY that helps things out alot!
