hey guys i need to buy new rims but im not willing to spend too much on them(around $75 a rim) and i was wondering what you guys suggest. I just the aluminum ones with the hole in them. Like the cragar soft rims. Thanks

if ur going for new steel rims are gonna be cheaper than aluminium here steelies start at 75 a rim

Well you can check summit racing or something... But I would start hunting on CL or something. I found a couple brand new sets of rims for under 100 bucks for all 4. I even got a set of chrome procomp rockcrawler 88's for 20 bucks.

I like the old white spoke wagon wheels. They look good on Fords and there cheap too.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. :icon_twisted:

they don't look bad but they definately don't look good on any truck/car/suv. Plus they rust fast.

whats CL? sorry if i sound stupid. :dunno:

yeah I got my mags for 120 for all 4 on cl. It's definately the place to look

Powder coated is powder coated, color shouldn't matter.

They look alright on the older rigs (70's and 80's) but I don't think they would look too wonderful on a newer truck.

I picked up a nice set of alloys at a swap meet for $75... if you want cheap used is the way to go.

I don't think they are actually powder coated... if they are they mus miss a little but in the back of the rim cause ever set i have seen always has rust all over it. or stained paint.

Last year I picked up a set of explorer aluminum wheels with center caps at a local junkyard for $150. I love the way they look on my truck with 235/75-15 wranglers!
