I have a 2000 ford ranger 4x4 with a 3 inch body lift. It has size 32x11.50xr15 tires on it...what is the largest tire I can replace back on it? I know the rim size and other factors come into play, but if rim replacements were in the picture as well, what can I go up to without rubbing or other problems?

With a grinder...anythings possible. I ran 35x12.50 with my 3in body lift.

You can fit 35's but still depends on the width and offset. I recommend going with 33's. They would look better.

You could always crank the torsion bars to get a little more lift.

I just put 32x11.50's under my truck with just a torsion crank, they look great...I'm not sure if I'd want 33x12.50's, I think they would be too wide honestly.

I run 33x10.5 tires on my Ranger with the original wheels. I just have a 1.5" torsion bar lift and air springs in the rear. I did have to adjust the mud flap brackets to get clearance at full steering turn. I take it off-road quite a bit and have been through some pretty rough stuff without the tires rubbing.

I am at the limit now. Any tires larger would not work without more lift or body trimming.
