Have an issue where turning on my wipers instantly pops the 30a fuse. I unplugged the motor and it still happened, so I don't think it's the motor. The relays all test fine. I just cannot find anywhere a wiring diagram for 2000 that shows what else is connected to the wipers. I pulled the fuse box off an it looks like there's a black/green wire on that fuse, but also a red one. Before I go chasing all the red wires in a truck, I'm hoping someone knows already what else is tied into that so I can start there.

Thanks.

According to the diagram below, the 30 amp fuse for the wipers is fuse 16 and has a red wire. Carefully look this over, verify the fuse number and it's function. I just went down a rabbit trail on a toyota avalon because the owner did not pay attention what fuse actually was blowing.

The black/light green wire is supplying power TO that fuse. The red wire is taking power FROM the fuse and sending it to various parts of the wiper circuit. Only things on the load side (red wire) of the fuse can cause it to blow.
