What did you do to your 2019 and up Ranger today?

Pre-season football starts tonight so I took off the NASCAR license frame and put on the Steelers frame.

Ranger is still on vacation. Wife had the big-ass splint removed from her foot and leg and replaced with a big-ass cast and not able to safely drive yet so I'm still rolling in her minivan dropping her off and picking her up from work. No big deal since I go past her work on the way to mine anyway. Just a matter that I get to work a half earlier than I need to be.

Saving a bunch on gas though.

A good bath inside and out, in 102 degree shade temps.

Pic out my office door today with a stock white truck next to my blue one with a 1.5” Truxxx level and 265/70’s.

Drove it home from camp.

Got McGard black lug nuts. Just one set to make sure they fit.

One of the things on my list to do before the aluminum skin on the factory lug nuts gets messed up. I need to get a new center cap for one of the winter tires first. One disappeared just before I did the winter tire to summer tire swap.

My OE's are starting to get a little fragged. Need to be sure the base has a 60 degree angle like the OE nuts. Everything I've found says the #64015 nuts are correct. They pass the eyeball test. They have chrome ones too. I got these from Amazon. Jeg's is cheaper but you have to pay shipping. I've always got them from Jeg's before. If the shipping is the same no matter how many you get then they'd be cheaper than Amazon.

Well got the tires put on my buddy gave me off his Dodge Rebel. 305/70r17 Toyo Open Country ATs. I forgot how nice my truck drove with the wore out MTs and a bad alignment. Was smoth as silk and way more quiet than I even could have imagined

You got spacers or do they clear the knuckles and ball joints okay?
Thinking of getting 285's next time but the back sidewall of my 265's already feels close.

I do have 1.5 inch spacers. I've been running them since I bought the truck. That being said I do have a couple friends running 285s. They have like an 1/8th between the knuckle but none have showed any rubbing except on the crash bars. A few were able to loosen them and get enough clearance without cutting or changing them out to the big tire kit.

Okay thanks. I'm not a fan of spacers but they're not legal in my state anyway.

I've been running them since I bought the truck. They have some locktite on the treads that hold them and check the torque every 5k during oil change and tire rotation. I wasn't a fan either but I have some racing buddies that run them and have had no issues so I tried again since I'm a huge fan of the factory sport wheels. They are hub centric so no movement what so ever before lugs are even supplied. So far so good and your well aware I'm not the easiest on it haha
