What did you do to your 2019 and up Ranger today?

Still out camping. We had a lot of rain yesterday but with years of camping under out belt, we have alternatives so as to keep in keeping on. The camp stove got pulled out for the first time in a long time.

I also discovered a leak between the bed cap and the bed on the passenger side on the 2019. The cap doesn’t appear to have shifted. So I’m going to have to pull the cap and take a look at the seal. It’s supposed to be the better seal. So, I’m a bit disappointed. Looking at some of the half a$$ed work the installers did elsewhere, I wouldn’t be surprised if they messed that up too.
I used two layers of cap tape on my Sport Trac. H.R. Grant's in Bridgewater has it.

Day off work so I washed and waxed it. Also washed the wife's minivan, cut the grass, and did some stuff at my mom's house. Some day off.

Admit it, you loved it. That's MAN stuff!

CMOS

Are they still there? I don't remember seeing the racks of caps beside US 51 like there used to be for quite some time.

Drove it to the step sister's Independence Day party. Other than that it was just moving firewood from the 2nd year rack to the "in use rack" and from the 1st year rack to the 2nd year rack. I need room for the limbs I removed from the beech in the front yard and there was space in the "in use" rack from camping and a few fires in the back yard.

They’re still there but they don’t stock caps any more although they will order them. Best prices you’ll find on Weathertech and AVS.
My Sport Trac needed two layers of tape to keep the cap off the outside bed hooks.

Took out some Nissans and a ZR2 and got them dirty on some backroads.

The 2019 finally got a long needed bath.

Today I hit the 150 mile mark on the odometer.
And
I may even put my license plates on, since the 30 day temp tags expired over the weekend.

Ranger has been on vacation in the garage for two weeks.
Wife had surgery on her foot to remove a bone spur so I've been driving her to work in her Pacifica.
Much easier for her to get into and put her knee scooter in the back. We both work in the same end of the county so it's no big deal. Saving lots of money on gas though.
Gotta say I forget how hard the Ranger rides and downshifts until I was rolling in the Pacifica every day.

Whine, whine, whine...

Another unneeded coat of wax and hit all the trim with Back To Black or Armor All for the Truck Nationals this week. Should only need a wash and spray of tire shine when I get there.

I'm bringing a shiny truck. But it's not mine. Mine will be the beast in front of the shiny one.

It's unusual that the one you're bringing is shiny. Normally it's covered in mud and dirt.
We will have to explain to people that it's not a show truck and gets flogged hard off-road on a regular basis. :icon_twisted:
