Well, it's been a 'great' couple of weeks, but I'm getting rid of my Ranger

LOL what this guy did reminded me of that scene in the Patriot where they go in the bar and say "long live king george". Its almost the same thing you came into the RANGER station and said " rangers suck"

Have fun polishing your turd of a Chevy.

You are a piece of work who shouldn't even attempt to use tools. You know sometimes more than a Walmart socket set, mommy bought you, might be required to fix a truck. :icon_rofl:
Lol, you should read more carefully. I said I'm a professional mechanic. I have a couple grand invested in tools (mostly Matco, tho I do have some cheaper stuff), and I still have to borrow tools occasionally. Funny thing is the good tools are all useless when that 3/4" bumper bolt is placed so you can only get a ratchet (not even an air ratchet) on it. If I only worked on Fords I'd be better off with that $10 walmart ratchet set than the $500 1/2" impact I keep in my box.

Yeah you said that. No other part of your post supports it though, if you were a pro you would have noticed many GM's are the same if not worse. :dntknw:

This sounds like a compliment to me.

Sounds like your spoiled on air tools and get pissy every time you can't use them.

Not really, since that means I have to sit there for 10 minutes working hard to get a stuck rusty nut off a long rusty bolt instead of pulling a trigger and getting it off in 10 seconds. It's just a huge pain in the ass and waste of time that could've easily been avoided by an engineer who doesn't get his rocks off by eating his own excrement.

Thats the second time Ive heard the eating excrement thing... thats just harsh. I will say it again, we did not design the damned ranger, we only work on them here, and if you come to a FORD RANGER forum expecting to get noticed for just plainly insulting the ranger and those who work on them, your in for a fight. Just leave. :annoyed:

So you are telling us you are stronger than a 500 dollar impact if you can use a 10 dollar ratchet instead?

And please stop with the disgusting descriptions.

That's not what I said, but yes actually. I've broken loose more bolts that my impact couldn't than I'd like to admit with such an expensive impact (I'm an industrial mechanic, not an auto mechanic (mostly heavy machinery like forklifts, cranes, endloaders, etc) - it's broken loose everything I've thrown at it on a car, and I've done most of the work on all my family's cars). Though when I do have to break something loose I usually use a breaker bar (with a cheater pipe for more leverage at times) and a $10 ratchet with a cheater pipe on it wouldn't last long.

What I was saying is that the Ranger is designed so you can't even get the impact on it to try.

It seems to me that both you and the truck would be better off if you sold it. I've been spinning wrenches since I was12 years (almost 35 years), I've worked on cars and trucks from all over the world. I've worked on some of the most miserable shit ever produced (mostly Japanese) where you can either see it or touch it, seldom both. Rangers are no harder to work on than anything else, easier that a lot of others. It takes a lot of nerve , and the protection provided by the internet, to come in here running your flapping-ass jaws to a bunch of Ranger owners about what pieces of shit their pride-and-joy toys are. Maybe you can find someone on here that will save that little truck from your ham-fisted, half-assed set of mechanic's "skills" and you can go on with your life and get the hell out of ours.
