Finally starting to make some progress on some of my junk.
The bronco is up and mobile. Its running really good. I had that weird issue where it acted like it was starving for fuel when it was cold. When i reinstalled the tank i noticed the supply line looked like it had been kinked...i made it straight and stuck it in the retainer...low and behold today after sitting all weeked she fired up right properly.
Brakes on it are finished...and its stopping good and straight. The back brakes im pretty sure hadnt been changed since bush sr wss in office...so thats good.
Now i just got a few tiny lighting issues, fix/replace back bumper, put the new dipstick tube in, and tidy up the interior and shes ready to rock.
I also got that PITA of a ford 2n i bought running tonight. Eveidently 6v ignition parts dont like 12v running to them. Fixed the wiring up and got it reduced down to 4 or 5v at the coil, new points/condensor/coil and shes running like a top.
Next on the list is the cobalt...im hoping its a plugged cat. Then im gonna start back on the LTD.
So yeah....just alot of stress off my mind this week
