want to get my ranger to 200hp... any suggestions?


ok well yeah the reason why the stocks hit so low on the 04 is because of the super tiny MAF sensor housing i gotta 60mm on mine which bumps it to 130 with a tune for leanness. the biggest problem is the intake on the 3.0L but yeah ill try to find a dyno im not sure if it was 164 or 154 but i think the lower hp im not sure rangerpowersports is down and i cant look anything but. But that aside you have any idea on how much power ill be making with that setup
 
we will see. i know tarus-GLR runs a cam lift of i think 208 and he is putting down 164 that's where i got that number from. BTW i don't appreciate being talked down to and im sure it doesn't look good to have member treat other members like this. just saying you seem to be putting me down for remembering my numbers wrong my bad.
 
I bet he'll start saying his buddy has a ranger with 4 turbo's and upside down leaf springs.

actually there is a guy over at rangerpowersports who's got a super and turbo on his probe.
 
well some probes came factory with a turbo , and let me guess it is a red 98 ford probe
 
im not putting anyone down. its just amusing when people conveniently forget numbers and remember them differently later. im not saying your lying, just funny :D
 
i think so well sorta red last time i really saw it it was like red and primer. he posted a video but he has to move his upper intake manifold up so the intake doesn't rub the pulley. that the same guy your talking bout? I actually just remembered tarus-GLRs numbers wasn't convenience just mistaken identity i suppose
 
Ya, he forces the air into the turbo via Eaton supercharger. But, its an extreme example of what a 3.0L can do. Its not very practical or streetable, though.

the kid i am talking about i go to college with , he has pics on his phone of a "98" probe with all these insane mods , that he says him and 2 buddies bought together and they switch owners every year , the pics are out of a old street tuner mag , it is a real car and it might be the guy on there , but the kid i know is a liar , and btw , ford stopped building the probe in 97
 
yeah he posted up a video on RPS and its pretty crazy. he was talking bout stroking it to 3.3l at one time.
 
Just out of curiosity, what kind of power would you get out of a 3.3 stroker with headers, exhaust, roller rocker and the like? Keeping it N/A of course. Would the computer need re-done?
 
it prolly aint the kid i know , it is prolly the actual owner of the car , it is a pretty sick car
