WTB: OEM Tailgate Strap Bolts for 1987 Ranger

[87’Ranger]

I’m looking for the original OEM bolts that secure the lower tailgate strap eyelets (the hex head bolts with the wide flange, 8mm head). It looks like this on the image attached. One of mine on the other side was replaced at some point with a smaller flange bolt, and it doesn’t hold the strap eye correctly without adding a washer.





If anyone has extra hardware and can sell me a set (or even just one), please let me know.

best bet is a junkyard. any 83 to 88 (and likely to 92 will work. another option, take one out and go to Autozone/ Oreilly/ Advance, they may have the same bolt in their hardware section. probably not labeled as a tailgate strap bolt. another option would be a place like Fastenall.

But if you really want the exact replacement, junkyard is your best bet.

Unfortunately I don't have any extras in the 80's flavor.
