Walmart Won't Sell Me Antifreeze

Any thoughts on why Walmart will not sell me Prestone? Tried two different stores and it comes up “restricted item”. Not because of age, I’m well over 21, checkout supervisor punched in her code and it still wouldn’t let me buy it. I told her you better take it off the shelf then because there’s a lot more back there. I did email Walmart customer service.

Some states are restricting Walmart to help other store that are "essential" I bought antifreeze last weekend at Walmart. So I dont know why a different Pa Walmart would restrict it.

Just like Walmarts in Michigan blocked off gardening section. Don't know about right now, but still imagine that.

Apparently Walmart across Canada is closing down all of their service centres (OLF, tires, batteries, wipers, etc)

No more getting oil change while you shop.

Someone on the Sport Trac page said maybe it's because someone tried to poison cops in NYC with it. I hadn't heard that but hey, I live in Pittsburgh.

Have you tried pulling the race card? tell them thats racist and theyre being racist not selling you antifreeze. Doesnt matter what color you are. If they question that too, tell them there they go being racist again.

I know the service center at our local Walmart has been closed for a couple months... I figured it had something to do with covid 19. but who knows.

Success at Auto Zone. I mention to the guy about my problems at Walmart and he says there was a recall because the caps weren't childproof enough. He said they had to send theirs back and get new. Maybe Walmart hasn't got the new bottles yet.

I used to feel that way too, but now at least there is a damned actual store. Soon we'll look back at these as the good old days before Amazon drove every actual store out of business. I still hate WalMart, but I hate Amazon a lot more.

not child resistant enough? Some of these new jugs are hard for adults to get into without tools... the thumb button is hard to push and you have to jam the thumb button through the foil, I gave up on trying to use my thumb...
